Domain information groper gateway help

Our DIG gateway allows you to perform a DNS query on any server available on the internet. For accurate results we suggest you leave the server field blank and query our internet DNS cache, this will reflect what the internet sees. However because of the fact that most DNS admins do not synchronize DNS updates the results may be older than those reported by the relevant domains authority. The authority for a domain is reported either by the whois record for the domain or more accurately by a name server DNS lookup. To query the authority for a domain enter one of the authoritative DNS servers in the server field of the DIG form and submit.

The form submission results are basically the output of the UNIX dig command, however comments are de-emphasised and results emphasised. Sections are separated with a horizontal rule and the intresting results will be denoted by the ANSWER SECTION comment.
